This is beginning to stack up like a plot to a bad movie; a sort of reverse “Escape from New York.”

 

Maybe someone should be reminding Trump's people that the last time he called on them to defend him a thousand of them went to jail and he went to play golf.

Send them to the new prison in Alabama, it was built with fed funds anyway.

 

Yeah, I know how taxes work, and that's not exactly my point - my point is public schools are funded differently in intensity, creating different results - but, beyond that, I'd rather resolve food insecurity through something other than blanket bills that put a proverbial food box at the doorstep of wealthy people.

But if that's how it has to be done, so be it.

I'm in favor of universal health care, too. Somehow, that issue landed on a back burner.
