Reminds me of the good old days when cities would close their pools completely rather than desegregate them.

Just guessing here, but I DOUBT those wanting to close the library use it. They just don't want THEIR TAX DOLLARS used to promote commie-liberal indoctrination.

 

Or you can attack like this guy from my hometown on Facebook:

"Always thought these damn college kids should be forced to put in two years of military duty before they're allowed to go to college. They're just learning liberal bullshit there anyway."

 

I think 2 years of national service - not necessarily military - is an idea worth exploring.

Might restore some sense of the collective, and the responsibilities we hold in common, to young Americans.
