Don't get me started on that nightmare. We had trained police officers with better weapons and tactical gear who refused to go in to save children in Uvalde, TX, but some untrained teacher is going to turn into John McClane if a shooter gets into their building.

Indoctrinating kids one minute, then morphing into SEAL Team 6 the next - the American schoolteacher!

So wait. They can report teachers for creating a division based upon religion, then insist that we’re all equal based upon a creator of some some sort.

So technically, kids could report teachers for reciting “Under God” when they say the Pledge of Allegiance.

    Like Twitter and Facebook?
Facebook is Trumpists’ biggest media platform. It helped the lord and savior win in 2016. Twitter has been overtaken by a Trumpist nut case.

When we used to do a user poll for college football, Della would always start out with the previous year’s champ at No. 1, regardless of how severe the roster losses were.

That’s when he went off the rails. Otherwise, a mensch.

First of all, we all know who gets to decide what "divisive" means -- the snowflakes righties.
Second, the first four points I can say any reasonable person would agree with. But 5 and 6? Teaching kids what happened in the past and how to avoid it in the future isn't the same thing as making them feel guilty. But we all know that knowledge is a MAGA-asshat's worst enemy.

    Well … bye!

Parler, the self-described "uncancelable free speech platform," has been sold and shut down while its new owner conducts a "strategic assessment." The platform will be back eventually, new owner Starboard says.

Wait … does this mean the “uncancelable free speech platform” has been canceled?

The Parler website is now a simple page containing only today's press release announcing the acquisition, which was completed without financial terms being disclosed. "No reasonable person believes that a Twitter clone just for conservatives is a viable business any more," the acquisition announcement said, promising a revamp.

"While the Parler app as it is currently constituted will be pulled down from operation to undergo a strategic assessment, we at Starboard see tremendous opportunities across multiple sectors to continue to serve marginalized or even outright censored communities—even extending beyond domestic politics," the press release said. No timing for a return was mentioned.

    Are SCOTUS justices impeachable?

Over the last two decades, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has reported on required financial disclosure forms that his family received rental income totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a firm called Ginger, Ltd., Partnership.

But that company — a Nebraska real estate firm launched in the 1980s by his wife and her relatives — has not existed since 2006.

That year, the family real estate company was shut down and a separate firm was created, state incorporation records show. The similarly named firm assumed control of the shuttered company’s land leasing business, according to property records.

Since that time, however, Thomas has continued to report income from the defunct company — between $50,000 and $100,000 annually in recent years — and there is no mention of the newer firm, Ginger Holdings, LLC, on the forms.

The previously unreported misstatement might be dismissed as a paperwork error. But it is among a series of errors and omissions that Thomas has made on required annual financial disclosure forms over the past several decades, a review of those records shows. Together, they have raised questions about how seriously Thomas views his responsibility to accurately report details about his finances to the public.

At the absolute polar opposite end of the spectrum politically, William O. Douglas managed to brush off Gerald Ford’s impeachment efforts in the early 1970s.

Now THAT was an interesting Supreme Court justice!

The GOP always had a small tent. It was long the party of conformity.

    Now, they both are.
