The wild thought occurred to me this morning that if the Alabama Legislature could somehow be persuaded not to do any new totally crazy stuff and would just be content with the level of crazy that got them all re-elected just five lousy months ago, this state’s rankings could shoot up into the 30s merely on inertia. Alas such would never occur to the crowned heads on Goat Hill.

Disney should quietly leak it's thinking about moving elsewhere, even if it has no intention of doing so. Close up, make billions selling the land to developers, or develop it yourself.

The number of cities and states that would be on their knees offering tax incentives to get Disneyworld II would be staggering.
