Trump actually did "drain the swamp" in Congress of terrible GOP Reps. Meadows, Mulvaney, Pompeo, Tom Price, Dems wouldn't have beaten them in 50 years given their districts - Trump got rid of them in less than 4 years.

 

Remember several months back when some folks ‘round here were assuring us the documents raid at Mar A Lago would result in something?
That was fun, wasn’t it!

 

Oh Merrick Garland is furiously reviewing all that stuff. I'm sure he'll be ready to do something about it about 2045.

 

It’s almost as if Garland understands gathering evidence and the ability to prove something is important before charging someone of a crime. And swinging and missing would make Trump more powerful than he is now. I mean no spaghetti-on-the-wall justice for that guy.

 

Jack Smith has been interviewing Trump's lawyers under oath re the documents, but no one is doing a damn thing.

Garland has been DA for 27 months and counting.

 

By appointing Jack Smith, Garland washed his hands of the whole Trump mess. Garland doesn't have the stomach for the fight. I wish he had appointed Smith about a year and a half earlier.
