'Florida pizzeria' = a good laugh this morning, thank you.

Let's not make it sound like Tuscany or anything.

Beau says it better than I will, but I know that some of y'all don't watch the links, so I'll thumbnail it. Boris Epshteyn, Trump lawyer, strategist, and insider, spent Thursday and Friday testifying with regard to 1/6. At some point, Jack Smith himself came in and sat listening. Remember that he is one of the Trump aides who had his phone taken by the FBI. They've done the start at the bottom and work their way up, gathering information, documents and testimony to the point that they are now deposing members of Trump's inner circle. Generally when things get to this point in an investigation they're getting close to having a case ready to go to court.

I bet Epshsteyn got a little queasy seeing Smith taking a personal interest. Two days is a long time to be on the griddle, and he knew how much they already knew when he started to talk. I suppose he could have been dancing and taking the 5th for two days, but I (and Trump) have to wonder just what he had to say.

This is just more of the DoJ not doing anything, I suppose.

My plan would ban books, but only ones written by British royalty.
