Heard from someone that 538 is shutting down, Disney is just drawing it out. I don’t know what they plan on doing with the brand name. You might as well sell it back to Silver at a bargain basement price. Disney isn’t going to do anything with it.

Maybe Silver should’ve stayed with the Times. I’d think his sports-related data analysis would be a good fit over at The Athletic, if NYT wanted to bring him back.
