From what I remember from my days in the commonwealth, the concepts of diversity, equality and inclusion might not be received very well at VMI.

They want a life-at-conception ruling from SCOTUS. They know they can't get a national ban through congress and they don't want to fight it out in 50 state legislatures -- they'd only get a hardcore ban in a dozen states, various partial restrictions in 30 more, and about 10 wide open abortion meccas. They want to slam the door completely: no abortions anywhere.

They want a SCOTUS ruling and then stick a gun under the chin of anybody who doesn't like it.
