There's a Manya joke somewhere in that hed just as long as WaPo online dregs aren't at the wheel.

 

I get tired of hearing about the Dems "wanting" to do something but they can't because of Senate "rules." Honestly, seems the GOP can do or not do whatever it wants when it holds the majority - or the minority for that matter. Perhaps Dems should just say screw it and primary a Senator in a safe state - put them all in a hat and draw a name. Maybe then some Ds will do more than drop soundbites and tweets.
I get tired of hearing Ds campaign on things and even with majorities, being unable to get them done. There needs to be accountability.

 

Rules? Since when have most Republicans given a crap about rules? Especially ones that don't serve them at that particular time?
