If we eliminate Space Force, maybe we'll finally find out what purpose it served?

The Texas lege meets every two years. Typically around 10,000 bills are submitted and around 30% of them actually go anywhere. This is the body that is going to administer the legislative and regulatory needs of all the cities in the state? When and how?

She's still listed as a sponsor on a bill from January to codify Roe in NC: House Bill 19 (2023-2024 Session) - North Carolina General Assembly. Tell me more about her deeply held principles.

Why did she change her mind?

And why harassment of her family - to the point where she’s be driven out of town - be a good resolution to anything?

    A. She didn't. She was always anti-abortion.

Please, just stop. Of course, she can be voted out next time, but the damage is already done. What she did was fraud, though I doubt anybody could win that in court, and even you know it.

A prosecutor announces she will no longer charge citizens for possession of marijuana under a certain amount.

    How is that government overreach?

    Are tax loopholes overreach?

She changed her mind because she switched parties and fealty to the GOP on this issue was the price of her being welcomed with open arms. There's all sorts of salacious rumors about why she switched parties, but her publicly stated reason is that Dems were meanie, meanie to her when she was absent for another veto override vote and so the GOP was able to override the governor's veto on a major relaxation of gun laws.

The family thing is interesting. Her ex-husband and father of her kids was the longtime Democratic Party chairman for Charlotte. Her mother is a Democratic County Commissioner for Mecklenburg and longtime member of the DNC. In fact, Tricia's initial appointment to a statehouse seat back in 2007 was largely a patronage deal from then-Gov. Easley to Cotham's mother.

She was not anti-abortion. Her vote is downright shocking. In 2015, as a Democrat, she gave a moving floor speech about her own experience getting an abortion when she had a pregnancy that was not viable, and she was called a "baby killer" by her new friends who apparently aren't meanie, meanie to her anymore.

So there are going to be a whole lot of new unready mothers in NC because of one woman who (per frantic) never gave any indication she was going to vote this way and represents constituents who obviously didn't elect her to vote this way. But the real issue is that a poster on SportsJournalists.com is prepared to be mean to her.
