Exactly. Remember, of all the bizarre things Trump did, how he tried to turn July 4 into May Day by showing off all the big tanks? Or SHS's weird response to SOTU? They want the trappings of the office, but don't know what to do when they get there to fix all the sins they campaigned against. Or they're such crazy ideas, like building the wall or fighting covid by doing shots of bleach.

 

North Carolina's previous governor signed a dumb bathroom bill to stir up conservative and foment fear and loathing about things they refused to attempt to understand. Until a few years ago, that would be an "end of thread" post.

I was shocked to see the recently resigned SOS only earned $77K, and that the governor only makes about $95K. No wonder the SOS was taking $120K a year in "consulting" fees from pot growers.

 

Some see the hypocrisy of a family values Republican doing this. I, for one, think his commitment to lowering his carbon footprint should be commended.
