Needs to be a debate question.

And after the GOP candidate defines it with a bunch of exaggeration and strawmen, Biden simply has to say, "It just means, 'Don't be an asshole.' That's all. Don't be an asshole. And the man to my right believes that's a bridge too far."

Scathing quotes! Golly, I get the feeling they don't like her ...

“He’s a leader who makes political decisions with the assistance of his wife, who was elected by nobody, who’s blindly ambitious,” said a former DeSantis administration staffer. “And she sees ghosts in every corner.”

“She’s more paranoid than he is,” said a second staffer.

“He’s a vindictive motherfucker. She’s twice that,” said a higher-up on one of his campaigns. “She’s the scorekeeper.”

If she’s worse than racist Nancy Reagan, that seems to be bad.

All anonymous. It’s a shit practice across the entire industry. It’s *remarkable* to me that you can call somebody a “motherfucker” anonymously.

Well, boo-hoo-hoo. Do you follow the news? Did you read the story?

The DeSantis inner circle is too small and remains so, they say, not only because he constitutionally doesn’t trust people but because she doesn’t either. Especially forthright are the people who are granted anonymity on account of their fear of retribution given their power — not just his but hers.

That is true. It's not a good look.
But if that's your chief takeaway from discussion of Gov. DeathSentence, you're displaying a willingness to give him a pass when he cooked the books on COVID; whacked the administrator who was trying to provide accurate data; hired a quack as the state's surgeon general; remade a public college in the image of a private, sectarian, out-of-state college that's so opposed to fedruhl policy on things like title IX that it won't even let its students attend with the help of the GI Bill; criminalized the teaching of American history's chapters that discuss the country's original and continuous sin of racism; alienated the state's largest private employer in the name of bolstering his personal political ambitions; and ignited a new assault on LGBTQ people.

Alma, have you ever read any campaign coverage in, oh, the last 50 years? Actually, go further back. Count the blind negative quotes in the bible of this genre "Making of the President 1960." There are plenty. You're not as naive as your comment suggests. It's not a position that makes you look good.

I’m not displaying a willingness to do anything . All of the things you listed about DeSantis were true irrespective of some “higher up” staffer calling him and his wife a MFer.
