There are a helluva lot of defense contractors who have been counting on the Space Force HQ in Huntsville as their next gravy train. I’m guessing more than a few bankrolled Tubs and are starting to call chits in.

 

Biden should have rolled that ignorance right back into the Air Force day one.

 

Disagree. And it was in the works well before Trump descended the elevator in 2015.

We need a 7th Force stood up: Cyber Force.

 

Cyber Force (which could also be part of the USAF) is a heck of a lot more of a need than Star Fleet.

True except you start off with saying you play it down the middle and you acknowledge the failings of schools too.

Everything after that is true but the start plays into what Alma is doing. It takes blame away from those who are the real villains in all this. Alma is playing the off both sides are bad, how bad can the one the media and the libs are demonizing really be? The thing is everyone has flaws but pointing them out isn’t necessary. Do I really need to say people drown in rivers in a story about lower water levels? No. It’s a distraction.

BTW, it’s not you. I’m just over Alma’s games especially when it comes to schools.

 

I’m trying to imagine what finding common ground would look like with those sympathetic to a Mom’s For Liberty-style group and I’m having trouble picturing it.

It feels like there could be a little give and take around the idea of gender variance being a topic that is postponed until junior high unless it is needed in a particular class/school to make a child feel welcome. But acknowledging gay couples and families and laying the foundation that there is much more to the American experience than white Christians should be nonnegotiable. And these parents rights groups show no sign of discussing topics in good faith.

 

None of the MAGA men I know seem to be especially happy. Happiness is not something they appear to know.
These folks were spitting nails when they controlled all three branches of the government.
And still their feeble god could do nothing with that advantage.

 

In a perfect world, there would be no gerrymandering. I'd be all for it. But this is the way it is. So, when Texas and Florida and others are going to game the system, New York has to do the same. A bad map in 2022 and Dem party arrogance/laziness is why we have McCarthy, Greene, Bobo in power. And that sucks.
