Looks like Cloris Leachman next to Biden.

$37.7 million might be how much Fatcesa (thanks, Octave) stole from WFAN, its advertisers and listeners over the years. Never understood his appeal.

Before Mike split the team up, they really were the voice of NY sports. I think it was more that they were best because they were (mostly) first, but before we got information from 1,000 sources, you felt like you had to listen to them at 1 pm the day after a big game. Mike turned into even more self parody post-split but the fact that he wasn’t in on the joke made it even better.

Russo is a subject expert in at least one thing (baseball). I'm not sure what it is Mike knows.

Imagine how godawful these two were when the Giants and Jets sucked at the same time.

I don’t know why after everything else this has me riled up, but there are just some real pieces of shit in the “conservative” orbit. Can’t some of these people slip into an open storm drain and finally make a beneficial contribution to society?

I respected Russo (still do) because he at least seemed original. Maybe unique is a better way to describe it.
Your take above on Francesa describes mine. It was sort of like he was famous for being famous ... reason unknown.

Not all Republicans are on board. Conservative Ann Coulter wrote on Substack: “the idea that a crack-fueled roll in the hay entitles the mother to be treated like an honored member of the family is absurd.”

Focus group guru Frank Luntz, a Republican, cast the criticism as a personalization of politics with which he couldn’t get on board. He’s heard nothing from voters in his focus groups about the criticism facing the president over the issue of his grandchild.

    “No one cares,” he said.

    Agreed. Glad you clarified some.
I'm not a Biden lover, but felt he was pretty down to earth as politicians go. Still do.

If the GOP had a finger on the pulse of what people want, they wouldnt have lost in 2018, 2020 and 2022, and they wouldnt have overturned Roe vs Wade.

And their answer to Joe Biden is to bring back three time loser and serial indictee Donald Trump.

It’s like being a Yankee hater and watching them fumble one trade after another in the 1980s and early 90s. In a word: glorious.
