With any luck Georgia goes RICO. Their RICO laws are a bit more expansive. Another case on the calendar. Glad to see it

Wonder who the co-conspirators are and why they remain unindicted. Witnesses maybe, which would imply more indictments to come.

So he wanted to let Trump skate but appointed the guy to get the indictment because he didn’t want to be the one to do it. Did he want Trump to get away with it or did he wanted someone else to get the indictment?

We’re two years removed from a president of the United States actively trying to disrupt an election with a significant amount of the population and not a small number of elected officials who wanted to go along with it. You couldn’t exactly slap cuffs on the guy and say “c’mon!” to a judge and jury and have it all stick. There was an amount of due diligence that needed to be done. And the evidence collected must be enough. As much as throwing everything at Trump would be amazing, what evidence do you have that would support a RICO indictment?

Closer to three years than two; all of this could have been done in Year One...the trials would be over by now.

Like I said, Merrick washed his hands. Didn't want any of it. Did Pilate want Jesus to skate? Pilate probably didn't give a damn.

Too bad Merrick waited so long to appoint Jack — that pushes the timeline closer to the election.

At least Garland drafted a good quarterback to run the red-zone attack.

EDIT: Yes, agreed that he shoulda put him in the game well before halftime.

Fine two and a half years (from Jan 6, 2021).

But the point is get the ducks in a row and be absolutely sure of everything before you pull off a first of it’s kind indictment. Swinging and missing is not an option.
