I don't think he could do something as athletic as emptying a wastebasket.

He sweats like he has beans and franks in his shorts even in the midst of his softball interviews.

Really kinda dumb. We know it was because of COVID and would have happened to Hillary or whomever was in charge. And half the country was cheerleading the closings of businesses in the interest of public health. You can't demand that stuff be shut down and then come back four years later and say, "Look at all the people who lost their jobs!"

    Same thing for Europe.

Why didn't SARS take down Bush II? Because there was a sane governmental response that snuffed it out and by election day 2004 it was long forgotten.

Why did "insane governmental response" in the United States cause so many worldwide deaths and job losses?

Covid wasn't going to be "snuffed out" in the U.S. by anybody not named God Almighty.

The raw numbers on jobs are the raw numbers. Any president would spin the numbers as a huge positive and political advantage. It would be political malpractice otherwise.

I just find it interesting how the same eight-wingers screeching about civil war were in tears a few weeks ago when the FBI killed that guy at 6 a.m. who was threatening Biden.

I mean, do they really think a “tyrannical” government is going to be marching against them on a battlefield? They’re just going to kick in doors at 4 a.m., throw a flash-bang grenade, then storm each house. And that’s only if they’re in a good mood. If they’re mad, they’ll just send a drone. After all, it’s a civil war.

Civil wars become remarkably uncivil extremely quickly.

If the foot soldiers of Civil War II are just stochastic lone wolf nutjobs, they will be dealt with quickly by the feds who'll be empowered to investigate hate speech on social media. They always tip their hand with a number of racist and violent posts, followed by a manifesto.

This post nails Trump to a tee.

His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum. God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid. He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump.
