I do love the idea of the Republicans trying to nominate a dumbass son whose nose is buried deeper in cocaine than Hunter Biden's ever was.

The Meadows ruling was expected to go this way, right? Probably would've been a huge deal if the move was granted. More pressure on him to flip? Still wonder what's going on with him in the Fed cases. He's not charged, so cooperating there? But not in Georgia (yet?)?

Yes, this was expected. Of the defendants making the case for removal - the legal term for moving a case from state to federal court - Meadows had the best argument and this is still where it should've ended up. There are very few precedents of criminal cases being removed and they've been a lot more clear cut. Meadows needed to show he was acting in his official capacity as a federal official and not in his individual capacity and there is lots of case law delineating those two concepts, especially when it comes to government officials also taking a role in campaign matters.

And a big part of the fallout here is that Meadows' trial in Georgia will be televised, right? Hahaha, suck on that, Trump!

Meadows is one that honestly puzzles me.
He was entrenched thanks to a gerrymandered seat but gave it up to be Trump's fourth chief of staff.
He could have cruised and grifted until the cows come home, but he gave it up for what? A prison sentence?
I truly don't understand how so many people who own a golden goose throw it away for an orange turd.
