I stopped liking her after she bailed on hosting SNL in 2001 and sobbed that "She just didn't know how to do her job anymore!" She's always had it so much harder than clinical workers, first responders, teachers, and front-line retail workers. Oh, that sweet, summer child. She's the personification of heat-borne crotch itch.

The accusations made against Joe Biden related to Hunter Biden's business dealings still aren't as bad as what Trump pulled. Say that to a Trumpist and their response will be, "See! You admit Joe Biden did something wrong!" Of course, all you did was tell them that their speculation about Joe Biden still doesn't come close to the reality of Donald Trump, but they can't allow themselves to hear things like that. It would mean admitting they voted for arguably the worst president in the history of this country and that they plan to vote for him again.

Polls this early are silly. It's like trying to guess the winner of the Super Bowl in 2025. But even sillier are polls that don't factor in the Electoral College which for better or worse, are how things get settled.

 

But if Barrymore doesn’t use writers and does everything herself is that OK?

 

Some shows have a waiver from the WGA to continue production without writers. Hers does not.

SAG / AFTRA is out too. Presumably she's both.

So she's crossing a picket line during a strike by a union of which she's a member.
