I think we would all be a lot better off if we just realized that 25-30 percent of the population are basically trolls who will make up whatever facts they want to see if they can get a reaction from the rest of us. At least many of them have identified themselves with a blue check mark.
With the problem being that a portion of that 25-30 percent have seats in our government. And others in our government keep telling themselves they have to cow-tow to them or they won’t be reelected.
In other words, we’re fucked until they lose a couple more election cycles.
