Eh, agree, because there simply has to be a commander at the top of the chain. Perhaps the better strategy would be to begin to push through every single one they can. Start eating the clock. The R's have to pass something eventually, and they'll need time to get their shit together, and this is a time waster of their own construction. Brinksmanship. Bare knuckles politics.

The Dems aren't known for that, though.

Celebrities are routinely canceled for their acts of sexual abuse. Why hasn't Donald Trump?

Pretty sure it's a job requirement of the vise president.

Does he just choose not to wear a suit, or is there a reason?

He just really hates wearing a suit.

He says he's far more comfortable wearing a hoodie and shorts, and particularly as he recovers from the stroke and deals with depression he's opted for comfort over formality. He generally votes from just off the floor so he doesn't sully the Senate floor with a hoodie.

    Sadly, they aren’t.

IIRC, one former poster here said politics ain’t beanbag.

    He was, and is, correct.

Schumer said on the Senate floor that he's gonna do just what Neutral advised. Of couese the threat is the Senators would actually have to stick around DC for days on end and show up for work each monning.
