    Haley is clearly running against Harris - and the tons of fentanyl Harris has seized at the border.

    Always a little amazed at the stupidity of these "here's a pile of seized drugs the administration kept you safe from" stories.

    It seems Fox News thinks Hunter Biden’s arraignment is a bigger deal than Gaetz trying to remove the GOP Speaker of the House.

    Because that would mean the greatest President in the history of the planet is no longer walking among the living?

    BREAKING NEWS --
    @RepJeffries
    "definitively" called for a vote against any procedural motion to delay the motion to vacate AND he said Democrats should vote to oust McCarthy.

    To quote from the late Francis X, Dealy Jr.'s book The Power and the Money on the history of the Wall Street Journal:

    Executive Editor Barney Kilgore
    "The Journal competes with books. If a news item is good enough for a book, it's good enough for the Journal first. If it's in the Journal first, there's no need for the book. If a reporter holds back on a Journal news item to make his book better, he shouldn't be a Journal reporter."

    That was a lifetime ago. Peter Kann and Norman Pearlstine lifted the book ban helping folks like Bryan Burrough and James Stewart become millionaires.

    The same logic would apply to government personnel.

    Socrates left no books but we do get them from Cassidy Hutchinson, Myles Taylor and Omorosa.

    They’re going where their voters already are.

    And they’re abandoning business/small-government conservatives as they do so.

    Not a Chait fan, but the subhead here is too good (or too bad) to ignore.

    The ex-President who ginned up a coup attempt and invasion of the capitol is the odds on favorite to be his party’s nominee again. If that isn’t an extraordinary threat to American democracy, nothing is.
