Jeffries should tell his caucus to vote for McHenry on the next vote. See how many Rs follow suit once they have cover.

Fuck that noise. Moderate Republicans should turn their backs on the loons and vote for Jeffries.

That ship done sailed. It would’ve happened by now. It would’ve happened in January.

Ds voting for McHenry shows they’re being the adults in the room.

McHenry is not an adult either. Another Fatfuck-slurping shithead.

GOP should take a page from the Shirley Jackson short story the Lottery, but instead of being stoned to death, you become Speaker. And you do have the option of voting no, but it requires a sacrifice.

His daughter happens to be a sideline/studio reporter for Bally Sports North and married (and is having a kid with) a kid I covered in high school.

Its amazing that there seem to be some GOP members of Congress who seem rational and actually think for themselves like Womack. Of course he has no shot at Speaker.

Brian Stelter’s Inside the Hive podcast this week had someone on who explained that right wing talk radio and media, especially those not tied to a traditional media company, have ginned the crazies up so much that you can’t win the GOP nomination for many House seats without being (or pretending to be) one. The second that you step out of line, you live in fear of a primary from the right in which typically are very low turnout affairs and the fact that you refuse to compromise on anything and have no interest in governing are features and not bugs.

    He meets all their criteria.
That klan is so bad that some claim he's a moderate Republican.

Well, some poor bastard will wind up as Speaker of the House. I wonder who will get afflicted with it.

That's a damn shame, too. I didn't even know that much about him before that video, but I can't help liking the guy.
