The Georgia hearing on Fani Willis and Nathan Wade just got even more bizarre. After hours of questioning of Wade's former law partner, Terrence Bradley, and one-time lawyer in his divorce, during which there was non-stopping sparring over what's covered by attorney-client privilege and therefore could not be testified to, he made it through the defense lawyers' fishing expedition largely unscathed. I thought his testimony was mostly helpful to Willis & Wade. Then the state (i.e. Willis' assistants) on cross examination drew out a point that he had successfully evaded on direct: That his departure from Wade's firm was a result of a sexual assault allegation against him.

It has nothing to do with nothing. The state wanted it out to make him seem biased against Wade, but I think they just shot their own foot, because now a whole bunch of what Bradley and his lawyer claimed were covered by privilege is now in doubt and he's gonna have to go through all the defense lawyers fishing some more.

What a shit-show.

 

They can and will attach and seize his assets if he doesn't pay. He has 30 days to either pay or if he appeals, to post a bond in that amount.

 

It worked in 2016 with Clinton.
