Putin was a KGB thug when it was still the USSR. That's who he is. The fact that they give him any legitimacy whatsoever, treat him as anything but an authoritarian dictator, is an unjustifiable choice.

He'll be killed around the time Zelensky is killed because of American expat Gonzalo Lira, who spread a bunch of Russian propaganda and died of neglect in a Ukraine prison. Won't hold my breath awaiting either.
