    I've always said that history would treat Richard Nixon better than his contemporaries did.

    If people are saying Donald Trump wasn't so bad 50 years from now, this country will have gone through some real shit.

    Dismissed on technical problems with the indictments, so prosecutors are not barred from fixing them and re-indicting.

    I somewhat wonder if this is a signal he is going to reject the defendants request to remove Willis and Wade. Not that he ruled on the dismissals this way, but the timing. This ruling coming out first preempts Trump's inevitable complaints that the judge is biased against him.

    I was 7 years old in 1968. I don't ever remember Nixon being talked about in my (Democratic) house. I knew they voted Democratic because I asked, and my Dad was glued to the Watergate hearings, but that was the extent of political discourse in my house.

    I wonder if the typical kid today grows up without hearing Trump this and Trump that in his house.
