Might not be the correct thread to post this but this happened today.

Wife's co-worker has been married for 10 years and has two children with her husband. She is 4 months pregnant with their 3rd child but was told she probably will die if she tries to have this baby because of her medical condition. I think it's heart related.
So, her and her husband made the decision to medically terminate the pregnancy this week.

She is absolutely heartbroken. Barely could talk.
Luckily, we live in a state where she can legally do this.
I was just thinking how tragic to have to make that decision and also that if she was in several other states, she could be prosecuted for that decision or probably have to give up her life and leave her husband with two children and a dead wife and mother. I'd love to see the callous bastards who would try that after listening to her.

It's not some hypothetical scenario. It's real life and a real damn shame. We feel terrible for her and her family.

 

Sorry to hear about your wife's co-worker. Elections, unfortunately, have consequences.
