The problem is most of those rubes won't ever hear anything about this. It would get shut down, and they'd blame Obama or Pelosi.

You're assuming he has $9,000 available.

The judge's order is really well written and explains that his choices are a max fine of $1,000 or 30 days in jail for each violation. There's a section where he discusses the inadequacy of $1,000 fine for some defendants and laments his inability to tailor it. He also makes it clear in the order that jail is very likely if Trump doesn't come to heel on the gag order.

Judge Merchan has handled the obvious violations of the gag order really well with a defendant who has put him in an incredibly difficult position. Nearly any other defendant would've gotten 30 days in jail, revealing once again that there really are two systems of justice in this country.

 

Who needs those fancy maps when you can fix everything with a Sharpie anyway?
