I have a disabled family member living in a Montana nursing home; long story short the Governor kicked her and 600,000 other Montanans off of Medicare last year. We spent weeks dealing with agencies and did everything we could to get her reinstalled but to no avail. Until we called Tester's office. Within 4 hours -- I'm not exaggerating -- his office took our call, interviewed us, contacted whoever they needed and got the thing resolved. When we told her nursing home, they couldn't believe it. A month later when we were there, the home told us that they had 20+ other residents who had the same problem, so they told them to call Tester -- and all 20 got resolved.
He may be a lard ass, but he gets shit done.
