Exactly. They screwed up. Overconfident assumption that the party couldn’t lose even though a moderate GOP term-limited governor was obviously going to enter. That one will really sting.

I think I have mentioned this here in the past, but when I went to see the Atlanta Olympics we got tickets to a morning session of track and field. The place was at least 95% empty as it was heats for I think the heptathlon and we got great seats. Robin Ficker was in the row in front of us, cheering like crazy. I want to say that his daughter was running, but I could be wrong. Dude seemed completely unhinged.
