Yes I Can. Trump and the republicans spent the overwhelming majority of $7trillion (correction noted)of taxpayer debt for corporate welfare, friends and contributors. If you provided 7 trillion to the 100,000,000 lowest income families, which is just about everyone under $250,000 taxable income, they would get $70,000 a family.

No talking logical like that. Besides, if we do this, how are the politicians and Corporate America going to divide up the countless billions - on top of the countless millions and billions they possess?

 

I would rather a business receiving aid continue to be open --- so I can WORK for my $70,000 and more for years beyond the pandemic.

 

You’re making an unreasonable assumption that the tax money trump sent to businesses were used to keep them operating. The reasonable assumption is that was distributed as profits and bonuses to senior executives and board members, not even increased dividends. What the evidence shows is that the businesses that needed COVID relief to actually keep operating and paying employees were either short changed or received nothing.

And think a little harder about it,$70,000 to 100,000,000 families. That’s so much better for the economy than what trump and the GOPdid. And fuck pelosi for allowing it. For $2,000 they screwed a generation of working people
