I've been to both. I didn't have a traffic cop in Philly tell me to go fuhk ma self.

Georgia has 159 counties, out of which 154 are probably as stereotypical as you'd expect them to be, including where we live. However, the combined population of those mostly teeny tiny counties pales in comparison to massive Fulton, DeKalb, Clayton, and smaller Evans and Chatham. Perhaps Cobb and Forsyth are the two biggest blood red counties.

Even formerly mostly rural/suburban sprawlish Gwinnett is only a third White, while three in 10 are Black, 2 in 10 are Hispanic and 1 in 10 are Asian. So of the 200,000 new Gwinnettians since 2010, two-thirds are minorities.

Based on the Herschel Walker vote, I still don't think Georgia's nearly as purple as it could be but poor white trash aren't having babies nearly as quickly as chicken farms are finding workers from South of the Border.

 

Cobb is a little less whitebread too.

Two of the people speaking have a father whose net worth is purportedly $7.7 billion.

Another person speaking has a net worth of $960 million.

And they're asking for donations.

It’s legal to record a fundraising video on government property? A minor issue, but a loophole that should be addressed.

 

Cobb is pretty consistently light blue now. Forsyth and Cherokee are the two biggest Republican counties.

This was the 2022 governor’s race map, which went Republican unlike the Senate races of late and of course Biden-Trump in 2020. So if you are blue on this map, I think it is safe to call you a Democratic county.
