DJT may be down from its IPO price. ... but the people shorting that stock have barely gotten anywhere on taking it to where it would be trading in an actual free market.

It's absurd that you have him claiming manipulation (because there are short sellers). It's the same populist playbook of the other "side." ... when the bubble pops and stock prices go down (like in 2008), it's the "short sellers!" Or when the price of a commodity goes up and people feel it in their household budget, it's speculators manipulating prices!

The real manipulation is the hijacking of our debt markets by a central bank that has created such grotesque distortions in our capital markets, that it made it so that a dog shit company like DJT could raise billions of dollars in an IPO in the first place. It's survival of the unfittest. ... at all of our expense. The fact that that IPO price will never hold for the long term is actually a small bit of sanity in the shit show we have sowed.
