@WriteThinking, I'm sorry you're going through this. It stinks to find out that someone you looked up to has that kind of dark side. As someone who threw out all of her books by a couple of people whose foibles went beyond just being human to a real dart to the heart, I get it.

FWIW, I read -but don't always agree with- Tony Campolo, John Pavlovitz, Rachel Held Evans, Will Campbell, and Wendell Berry. The last three might be a little wild and woolly, being from my part of the country, but their words often feel like good company.
