I'd like to apologize to the Boomers, since the latest NYT polling shows Gen X is the demo most likely to vote for Trump.

The man said that he didn't want people to be tested for Covid because you can’t have a documented case if there isn’t a positive test. He also spent the first month of Covid patting himself on the back for understanding so much about Covid because his uncle used to be a professor at MIT. And he still came close to winning reelection.

Mine, too, but it effectively underlines what makes him such a terrible leader. A good leader's job is to unify the country to face a crisis. He failed miserably in large part because he didn't even care about trying.

The only reason he got elected in the first place, or even remotely close to being re-elected, or has any chance of winning this time, is the Electoral College. If the Presidential election was run the way every other Federal election in this country is - the person with the most votes wins - he'd be an afterthought in history.

Now six or seven states hold a disproportionate amount of power, and essentially elect the president we all have to live under. Somehow that must be changed, even though the GOP will fight it with everything they have because a popular-vote election makes their candidates unelectable.

One-person, one-vote should be the rule of the land, so a Republican vote in Oregon (wasted) means the same as a Democrat vote in Wyoming (wasted). Instead the election hinges on rust-belt states like Michigan and Pennsylvania, Confederate states like North Carolina and Georgia and relatively insignificant states like Nevada and Arizona.

The distrust of the common man by the Founding Fathers haunts us to this day.

Let's not forget to inject bleach to kill the virus. And this is the guy the GOP wants to throw their support to?

The way TFG handled the early days of covid was beyond ridiculous. Remember it was going to be confined to 15 people? Instead of having Uncle Sam take the lead in distributing supplies to essential workers, he turned it into a state vs state bidding war. Oh, and one of the first people he called for advice on how to handle this? A-Rod.

And he believed GDP could be a negative integer. But he's not an idiot!

But Fauci holding press conferences was the real problem.
