2) in recognition of that condition, he foresees a period of several weeks during which his effectiveness may be impaired.

3) therefore he has resolved to withdraw from the campaign and resign from the presidency effective noon EDT on August 1, at which time Vice President Kamala Harris will be sworn in as President. He suggests the Democratic Party recognize her as the de facto nominee effective immediately.

4) he expects and encourages all delegates currently committed to his support to transfer their full support to President Harris. Defeating the aspiring dictator candidate is the most crucial issue in the history of the United States. We fought World War II to prevent authoritarian fascists from conquering the United States, now we must do it again.

5) he expects all his current administration appointees to continue in office, delivering their best efforts until such time President Harris may see fit to request a change.

6) He remains in close consultation with fully qualified and competent medical professionals who have released fully accurate statements as to his condition as opposed to fabricated lies.

7) He hopes and expects to return to health soon under the direction of those professionals. At that time he intends to remain available as a consultant to President Harris in whatever capacity she deems appropriate. I urge all other Democratic Party members and supporters of a free American society to do the same.

8) Merrick Garland is fired as Attorney General, effective immediately. Terminated. His offices and desks are to be locked within 60 seconds of conclusion of this address. President Harris will appoint a new Acting Attorney General of her choice who will make things ... exciting.

9) Fuck you, Fatfuck. Tighten your shoelaces, fatass, your free ride is over.

Cooper is the perfect VP pick. He is not a realistic future presidential candidate. That means he won't try to undermine anything Harris does. Shapiro, Whitmer, Newsom, et al. will want to run in the future. Harris picks Cooper, she knows he's there to serve, not push his own agenda.

Harris-Cooper stabilizes the ticket and the party, and likely gets us past the realistic threat of Trump being a candidate again.
