    We might be rid of Trump one day, but Trumpism will persist for years, maybe even decades until the normies take back their party. If one Trumpist wins the presidency, bye-bye democracy.

    Trumpism is the party. JD Vance is the next wave. It'll be cleaner, younger, more "intelligent" white people making Trumpism sound, um, relatively normal and reasonable. This is who they are.

    Raskin is awesome, but he is battling cancer and is from a safe D state.
    I like the idea of Cooper the more I think of it. I didn't realize he was 67, but that's OK. He might put NC in play and might help his AG, Josh Stein, beat the clownish, racist Black man who hates Black people and women and who stands as the Trumpist nominee for governor.
