That’ll mean a full month of Biden getting beaten up and polls slipping further. I don’t think the Dems can afford that. There has to be closure sooner rather than later, and Biden’s covid case is not helpful.

There is, at this point, maybe a 5% chance Biden is the nominee. And that may be high.

There is almost no way he makes it to this time next week, and there's an excellent chance he drops this weekend.

I think the question now is Kamala's running mate.

 

Heard Tim Walz floated as a possibility for the first time today. He would help in the Midwest.

 

I'm hearing Mark Kelly a lot, but I'm in Arizona, so it's hard for me to know just what to make of that.
