He could really couch it as it’s Joe Biden cheating. He must get rid of Vance because Biden bowed out after he made that pick to fight Biden. Now because Biden cheated and is forcing Trump to change everything because sleepy joe let the Deep State screw Trump, he is forced to make a new pick to stop DEI from making everyone gay.

 

Vance's "rise" in politics has always been about his alignment with Trump. He's never developed a base of support in Ohio that is uniquely his. Big shock that he isn't winning over crowds. He's like Dwight Schrute.

 

He was created in a lab and bankrolled the whole way to the tune of $15M by Peter Thiel.

 

The GOP pulling Nikki Haley out of the stands for the sake of having a minority woman on the ticket at the last second? Even Pappy O’Daniel could see through that one.

I've always been in the politics thread, lurking if not typing.
But yes, this is different.
Raised by Goldwater Republicans in Arizona, where the notion of state's rights is as powerful as the sun, I spent decades keeping my political thoughts to myself. Being a journalist, even one who mostly covers sports, helped me keep my head down for the most part. I'm a registered independent. I love America, even the parts where hate grows.
I've never donated money to a politician, never campaigned for anything. But now that Trump and his followers have destroyed all that I hold dear, I can't stay silent, even if it costs me work/family/neighbors/sanity.
Tonight I joined the white women Zoom call, along with 136,000 others, including female athletes and musicians, and my goodness, you could feel the shift.
