    Hmmmmm.

    Peters to VP slot ---->

    Big Gretch appoints Pete B to Senate as replacement ---->

    Gretch promised prominent Cabinet role in Kamala administration???

    I'm not too hot on Peters as a VP prospect. He's too old -- 66 in December, which would make him 69-almost 70 in a prospective 2028 election.

    He's bern a kind of boringly-effective Senator; he scores points with labor. He's a dull but competent speaker. I don't think he has the fire or killer instinct to really incinerate Fatfuck and Weird Hillbilly Boy out on the hustings. We need people who will take real joy in stomping these fuckers into the mud.

    He’s 67 and can retire to the beach if he wants.

    He's never been in an election in which he got the most votes outside of an election at one of his country clubs.

    Weirdo loser, indeed.

    Rumblings are that he's eying the 2026 senate seat.

    That was what I thought of those five. In fact, I didn't even really think of those five when I posted earlier suggesting that the Republican Party didn't really have anyone on the sidelines like I feel like the Democratic Party does. The only one of those five that I'd ever give any thought/possibility to whatsoever is Chris Christie.

    Picking a swing state senator for VP is like taking out a title loan and swearing to yourself you’ll have it covered before falling into interest rate hell.
