I managed to keep my mouth shut on Facebook about the opening ceremonies except for on my own timeline. But I couldn’t help but notice the outrage of one woman who found it totally immoral and scandalous - to the point she posted three different photos and a video clip in a single comments thread.

 

The strange (yes, even weird) culture war fights which the on line right picks and which spread like wildfire.

Based on comments on two local TV stations FB posts, the conspiracy theory du jour is all the social media sites are removing any reference to "La Cène Sur Un Scène Sur La Seine," which is what they claimed the segment of the ceremony was named. They said that was the caption shown on NBC during the live telecast, but all images and screenshots of it have been deleted forever.
