Somebody running the Trump team absolutely hates Vance. They keep sending him to the same cities as the Democratic ticket to play before crickets after Harris-Walz have packed out the aisles across town.

 

Or, you can pick and choose who you insure. You live in an area that's been flooded five times in the last 10 years? Sorry. You live in a high fire-danger area? Sorry. You live on the side of a hill? Sorry.

But there are millions of homeowners who live in "safe" places. nether places. No reason you shouldn't be able to get insurance. Again, some company with smart actuaries could clean up.

I'm not sure earthquake insurance is available anywhere anymore, unless you already had it.

 

I hate to think how many dollars the state of California would have to come up with to provide a similar program there. Huge difference in scale.
