    I’m not sure you can judge Harris as a bad candidate yet.
    In February 2007, only two years into his first term in the US Senate, less than three years removed from a state legislature and less than six years after 9/11, Barack Hussein Obama announced he was running for POTUS. On paper, a pretty thin resume. He was paired against a war hero who had far more experience. Mismatch, right? It helped him that the economy tanked in 2008, but that Obama guy turned out to be a decent candidate.

    You do a fine job of making my point. The poorest states are consistently red led yet they repeatedly put the same azzhats or those strikingly similar in place without seeing any improvement in your state's well-being yet your biggest issue is what's going on in New York, Detroit, San Francisco or Chicago? Doesn't sound like they're too concerned about not being able to make ends meet to me.

    I've always wondered how SEC state legislators keep getting elected despite their bottom tier in most quality of life areas. Do they run "against Washington?" or for "family values?" What are voters there supporting exactly?
