If that is actually the case, it's yet another reason he's not fit for the office.

It's beyond a doubt that Trump got shot at and it didn't miss by much. I don't think he was "grazed" because such a shot would've taken his whole ear off, but if it was shrapnel from a miss that hit the podium, he is IMO entitled to think he got shot. People way less narcissistic as he would feel the same way.
