I feel ya. But guessing with a first-time POTUS nominee and the nature of the last month, there’s gonna be a lot that they need/want to get in.

I guess 45 minutes at least. But I’d take the over on 45, but hope for the under on an hour.

 

There’s a Wes Walz who was on the Wild’s third line for a chunk of the 2000s and does local TV. I only recently has stopped mixing the two up.

At the risk of sounding Alma-esque

Justified or not, most of the last 10 years has been about one side feeling more and more depressed and the other side feeling more and more angry.

It feels like the depressed people are ready to move beyond that. Are the angry people ready to do the same? This goes beyond Election 2024 too. I think we are all exhausted and many of us want to unclench and get on with life.

 

Obama's DNC speeches in 2008 and 2012 were 41:40 and 39:03, respectively.

All due deference to VPOTUS, but she does herself NO favors exceeding that.

Wow! That is educational. I had no idea the lengths of those Obama speeches. I denounce myself and shall drift in the Lake of Fail having to listen to trump’s 90-minute hateful word salad of an RNC speech.

I agree and hope Harris’ speech is tight and as you say.
