Have we heard from an independent doctor about the extent of his injuries from the shooting yet?

Polls are not bullshit, but when they are this close, they send no message but "boy, it's close." This message pisses off EVERYONE, but it's what the numbers say. Note: "Close" could mean anything from Harris by 5 to Trump by 5.

    Turnout. Turnout. Turnout.

It's always going to be about turnout.

Dems have to turn out. And if polling is close, perhaps that motivates them.

It has been slowly creeping back toward an even race the last 7-10 days, but I figure the debate is going to shake up the snow globe one way or the other. This isn’t the scientific way to parse things, but it looks like she has held on to her 47 percent while Trump has shored up some of his support. So basically trending like his last two elections.

The main thing is to go out and win.

Polls are only as good as the model the pollsters use for what they think the turnout will be - and when you are talking about state specific polls, it is even more of a crapshoot. The best comparison is weather forecasting, two months out. But it really impossible since the behaviors of the candidates and voters are a lot less scientifically predictable. Then again, we were supposed to have a rough hurricane season.
