You almost think he's seen the "real polling" that campaigns do - and realizes his goose is cooked. He's getting killed by suburban women, younger voters, and his older voters won't be as much of the electorate.

At any rate, Cotton is a shitweasel who deserves not a single emoji typed in his defense. Sumbitch spends more time in studios doing Sunday morning talk shows than in Arkansas.

Honest question: do those things like "internal polls" exist? Has there been evidence of their accuracy? What makes them different?

NYT finally turning up the age-related heat a little on Trump.

As Debate Looms, Trump Is Now the One Facing Questions About Age and Capacity
With President Biden no longer in the race, former President Donald J. Trump would be the oldest person ever to serve in the Oval Office. But his rambling, sometimes incoherent public statements have stirred concern among voters.

Of all the breakout groups on that link, it still
comes down to this and Get Out the Vote, doesn't it?

What Democrat would cross over and vote for Trump?
But some Trumpers will abandon him this time.

Got to hope the Independents lean hard away from him, too.
So Get Out the Vote – and Harris/Walz lock it up, right?

Define "a few" in the context of the Russian propaganda attack.

It's not "a few." That was a hard deflect by Cotton, and he knows it.
Made sure to circle back and repeat it at the end, too. Total bullshit.

Dana Bash should have laughed out loud and gone for the kill there. But she whiffed.

Democrats were screaming in 2020 about how close internal polling was, compared to polling writ large.

If this POLL! is even remotely accurate, NC may be more in play than I think. The state split tickets with Cooper and Trump twice, but for the life of me, I can't see how anyone could step up to vote thinking, "Mark Robinson is just too crazy for the state, but that Trump guy seems like a good choice for the country."
