Why does obesity equally “credibility issues” in political arguments?

 

People who are personally hugely obese are regarded by many as greedy and undisciplined.

When hugely obese politicians argue that certain sources of food aid such as food stamps and school lunches must be cut in order to keep their taxes low, it's essy to conjure up the image of the greedy grasping fat kid next door who comes over for dinner and elbows all your kids to the side for the last piece of pizza.
