And the people who do know are paid millions of dollars and paid millions of dollars to not tell you what they actually believe. I’m sure there’s a person in Harris’ camp who has a pretty good idea if they’ve got the votes or not. That person isn’t saying that publicly.

Just like Obama’s 2012 team internally was pretty calm. They knew they had the votes. None of us did.

The Texas trip is what is confusing. They either are very confident they’re good to go or it is a desperate Hail Mary at flipping a state. You would’t use one of your last 12 days on the trail to help downballot. It’s every man and woman for themselves at this point.

 

You absolutely would. In a representative democracy, you need to make sure that you have allies in place.

 

I mean, you should. I’m not sure campaigns do anymore.

I think if she thinks she is going to win, she will. I’m hoping that’s wha the Texas trip is about.

If you lose the blue wall and you spent a day in Texas, it’s just going to eat at you eternally.

But, again, I’m an idiot eating a cinnamon roll looking at a website as my kid plays YMCA basketball.
