    Just spent three days in Vegas. I forgot what it was like to live in a swing state. Good lawrd the commercials.

    On the other hand ... there's nothing like being in a packed sports book when something wild happens (Commanders-Bears).

    Speaking of Commanders (and if it's been mentioned upthread, I apologize) ...

    The Redskins rule: If the team wins its final home game before the election, the incumbent party wins. If it loses, the party out of power wins. It's happened 17 of 21 times since the team moved to Washington in 1937.

    However ... it has failed the last three presidential elections.

    It really is crazy how border security is in the vast majority of ads for congressional races in the greater NYC metropolitan area.

    If we attached an IQ test and requirement to be able to vote, the Orange Cheetoh would get about 10 percent of the vote. Maybe less.
