    Reducing Mark Cuban - an actual self-made man - to "celebrity billionaire" is pretty lame. His dad did automobile upholstery. But I guess "the billionaire who founded Cost Plus Drugs to make generic prescriptions cheaper for consumers" is too wordy.

    God forbid a subhed not include a full biography.

    Read it or don’t. What do I care? But it isn’t very difficult to sort wheat from chaff on that site.

    speaking of messaging. This editorial ran in Eastern Oregon. Les Zaitz, who I interviewed with for a job once, is about the only person keeping that part of the state sane. He's probably responsible for a good 50 percent of all great journalism currently being done in Oregon with his various outlets around the state.

    Oh, now righties are upset about faith leaders getting involved in politics and want to rip their tax-exempt status? I mean, isn't the evangelical message for whites that we'll go to hell if Harris wins?

    Memo to al.com: If you're going to put quote marks around something, make it the exact words on the sign, and not a grammatically cleaned up version.
